Nettie Wills Shugart, Nebraska - Zeta, was Grand Secretary from 1914-1916, Big Sister Chairman from 1916-1920 and National Big Sister from 1920-1924. She introduced the Legend of the Loving Cup to Delta Zeta in 1916. This cabinet features the delicate, three-handled porcelain loving cups that Nettie painted to give to each new chapter that was installed, with the chapter's Greek letters painted inside. The three handles represent the love, the unity and the unbroken friendship which encircle members of Delta Zeta.
