The Florida Room (Women of Achievement Room)

Throughout the Sorority's history, Delta Zetas have been leaders in their professions and in volunteerism.  Since 1950, Delta Zeta has sponsored a recognition program for alumnae who have achieved national recognition in their professional or volunteer work.  This honor is The Woman of the Year Award, one of the highest alumnae honors within Delta Zeta.

In celebration of Delta Zeta's leaders, this room features a permanent exhibit to showcase Delta Zeta Women of Achievement.  The exhibit is prominently located on the first floor in the main entry, and in the library and small conference room, and features display cabinets containing photos, histories and memorabilia. Comfortable seating is available to encourage guests to spend time developing an appreciation for Delta Zeta's rich history and learning about the women who perpetuated the Founders' dream.   The décor and furnishings in the Women  of Achievement room, front library and Small Conference Room are respectful of the museum's traditional style, but also enhance the guest's experience.
