Grace Mason Lundy, Indiana - Epsilon, is credited with more firsts than any other member of Delta Zeta -- first Executive Secretary, first visiting delegate, author of the first chapter manual, and one of two first recipients of the Order of the Laurel, Delta Zeta's highest award. In addition to her service as Historian, Editor of The LAMP, and National Council positions, she became National President from 1940-1946. Her service and devotion to the Sorority continue to be appreciated by the "GML Girls," senior collegians honored annually for outstanding achievements on their campus, excellent service to their chapters, and who meet the expectation that they will continue that service and loyalty through their alumnae lives.
