Editors of The LAMP of Delta Zeta are showcased outside the office of the current LAMP Editor. The 1910 National Convention established the national magazine of the Sorority, The LAMP of Delta Zeta, which made its debut in December of that year. Many of the editors of The LAMP were full-time career women who edited the magazine as volunteers. Some were professional journalists and editors. For most of The LAMP's history, the magazine was written, edited and produced without the benefit of modern technology, and required much time and dedication from the editors. Each woman brought innovation and style to the issues that she edited. In 1999, the LAMP editorship became a staff position at National Headquarters. The official publication of Delta Zeta Sorority has seen many transformations in its history, only to remain, thanks to The LAMP editors, the one steadfast connection to our members.
