Archives Room Flags

The flags standing proudly in the Archives Room represent many things to Delta Zeta. The Delta Zeta Flag was designed by Ruth Simering, Indiana - Epsilon, and presented at the Golden Anniversary Convention in 1952. It is carried during the Panhellenic Parade of Flags at the National Panhellenic Conference's Annual Meeting and at Delta Zeta National Conventions.
The American flag stands for the Sorority's patriotism to our country. Were it not for the founding fathers of our great nation, Delta Zeta's Founders would not have had the freedom to organize and create the Sorority known today as Delta Zeta. The Canadian flag represents Delta Zeta chapters, past and present, which have been founded at institutions of higher learning in Canada.
