Barbara Campbell Fast, Central Missouri - Epsilon Gamma, 2000 Woman of the Year

Brigadier General Barbara Campbell Fast holds a key position in preserving the security of American troops and ultimately all Americans. At the time she was named 2000 Woman of the Year, she was one of nine women to hold that rank in the United States Army. Her military awards and decorations include Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster, and the German Silver Cross of Honor.
