Founder Anne Simmons Friedline's administration under her guidance as National President produced the Period of Greater Self-Knowledge and Internal Development. The biennium brought attention to alumnae work, and careful business methods emphasized internal growth rather than external growth. Her work was of great practical value to Delta Zeta, as were her balanced judgment, firmness of decision and sagacity.
