Dr. Mary Hill Fulstone received her medical degree from the University of California/Berkeley, where she was a charter member of Mu Chapter, in 1918. She was chosen Nevada’s “Mother of the Year” for 1950. In the 1950s she crusaded for a new hospital to replace a poorly equipped one. The bond issue to fund it passed through Mary’s efforts and one wing was named in her honor.
