Nancy Patricia Gibbs

In her professional career, Nancy Gibbs, Washington - Kappa, has paved the way for other women in the law profession. Nancy has been an attorney in the Seattle office of Preston, Gates and Ellis LLP, one of the 100 largest law firms in the country. Nancy’s commercial practice in the firm’s business department focused on large, complex financial transactions, both domestic and international, primarily for large multi-national corporations including Microsoft, a principal client of the firm. Previously she was assistant general counsel with Bank of America, serving as one of two legal counsels for the bank’s Latin America corporate international banking division and responsible for legal support of units in Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia and Mexico. An active member of the bar, Nancy has long worked to foster and support programs for public legal education and delivery of legal services to the poor.
