Sue Hastings Bohle

Sue Hastings Bohle, Northwestern - Alpha Alpha, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She was named a charter member of the Medill School of Journalism’s Hall of Achievement, which honors less than 100 alumni who have become leaders in their field. She started her career as a teacher in journalism at the high school and college level. In 1979, Sue decided to open her own public relations consulting firm. By the end of the fourth year of its existence, the agency was ranked among the top 50 public relations agencies in size in the United States. The Bohle Company was Microsoft’s first public relations agency. Other clients she has helped are Packard Bell, Eastman Kodak, Epson America and many corporate 500 companies. Sue was named one of the Top 500 Women in Public Relations by PR Magazine. She has also been a representative to International Communications Organization, a global standard-setting council made up of one public relations association from each country. Sue served as Editor of The LAMP of Delta Zeta from 1968-1969. She was named 1993 Woman of the Year.
